Training is also given for local government personnel who engage in matters related to the prevention of nuclear disasters, so that they can acquire the basic knowledge and skills which are necessary for precise activities in the prevention of nuclear disasters, such as the measurement and evaluation of radiation at accident-response headquarters or at the points of occurrences when nuclear disasters occur. | | Doctors and nurses at related prefectural medical institutions who engage in emergency medical care for exposure can acquire knowledge and practical skills locally which are necessary for emergency medical care, such as the receiving and treatment of patients at medical institutions, contamination inspection and decontamination. | | • Japan Chemical Analysis Center | | Prefectural personnel (engineers), who are in charge of actual environmental radiation (radioactivity) monitoring when nuclear disasters occur can gain the expertise and skills which are necessary for prompt analysis and measurement.
